Nine of the SEC’s baseball teams are in action today. Good way to start the week, yeah?
TUESDAY’S SLATE
(All times ET)
Northern Kentucky vs. Tennessee (3 p.m., SEC Network+)
Winthrop vs. South Carolina (4 p.m.)
Mizzou vs. Florida A&M (4 p.m.)
Alabama A&M vs. Auburn (5 p.m., SEC Network+)
SE Louisiana vs. LSU (5 p.m., SEC Network+)
Florida vs. South Florida (6:30 p.m.)
Stephen F. Austin vs. Texas A&M (7:30 p.m. ET, SEC Network+)
There were two other games to go down today, but Arkansas State-Ole Miss and Georgia-Kennesaw State have both been postponed due to inclement weather.
There are no ranked-vs.-ranked matchups to be found here, but some of the best teams in the nation will take the field anyway. LSU hosts SE Louisiana, as the top-ranked Tigers look to stay atop the nation’s rankings right now.
Florida, a Top 5 team, will play USF in Tampa for a midweek collision in the Sunshine State. USF is 2-1 in the early goings of the season after winning a series against Samford.
The rest of the slate is rather dry, as the SEC squads will all be taking on lower-tier D1 teams. In addition to that, USF is the only team above .500 that any SEC squad will be facing on Tuesday. So, assuming that everything goes to plan on Tuesday, it could be a very successful day for the conference.
