After last week’s domination of Miami, the Alabama Crimson Tide have removed all doubts (as if there were any in the first place) that this will be a “down year” or that they won’t be the team to beat in college football. Bryce Young may very well live up to the hype as the best quarterback Nick Saban has had in his time with Alabama, as Young’s four touchdowns last week made him the first Alabama quarterback to ever reach that mark in their first start. Young will likely find just as much success against a Mercer team that was barely tested last week in its 69-0 win over Point University.
Listen, we really don’t need to waste time here. You know how Alabama nonconference games go under Nick Saban. They’re going to win by a lot of points.
