Less than a week after parting ways with two-year head coach Joe Moorhead, the Mississippi State Bulldogs have found a replacement. That replacement, per Yahoo’s Pete Thamel, is Washington State head coach Mike Leach.

Leach is one of college football’s biggest personalities and offensive minds. Prior to his time at Washington State, he spent a decade at Texas Tech, going 84-43 and taking the team to ten straight bowl games before being fired. After a year off to do television, Leach took the Washington State job and was able to get the program on track after a rough first year. He went 55-47 in his time at Washington State, and picked up two Pac-12 Coach of the Year awards (2015, 2018).
