The Ole Miss Rebels’ star offensive lineman is off the board.

Greg Little is officially heading to the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers spent their second-round pick on the Rebel offensive tackle, giving them their first player off the board in the 2019 NFL Draft.

The Panthers traded up to take Little, acquiring the pick from the Seattle Seahawks. Thus, it certainly seems that Carolina is rather enamored with the tackle. And hey, why shouldn’t they be? Greg is one of the best offensive linemen in the NFL Draft this year, and should pan out to be a very solid pro if all goes well for him.

Ole Miss’ first picks off the board in consecutive years have come in the second round. Last year it was Breeland Speaks who was first off the board with pick No. 46 by the Kansas City Chiefs. This makes it two years in a row that they haven’t had a first rounder, but there are still quality players on the board for the Rebs.

Congrats to Greg Little and best of luck to him with Carolina!
