Preview

This is the definition of a tune-up game before the SEC schedule starts for the Texas A&M Aggies. After a really bad offensive week against the Clemson Tigers, they need to just move on.

Kellen Mond and Isaiah Spiller all need to bounce back this week. I think they’ll comeback with a vengeance. I know some fans want to bench Mond, a la what Nick Saban did to Jalen Hurts. There is no Tua for this team however. I think Mond will come back and have a solid game. Isaiah Spiller could become RB1 on the depth chart with Jashaun Corbin’s injury taking him out for the season. I think the passing attack will dominate Lamar this week.

The defense last week hung in there. Had they not been left to carry the load, they would have never let up 28 points. They limited Travis Etienne, which is fantastic. They even picked off potential Heisman candidate Trevor Lawrence. I think the key for the Aggies this week is to generate sacks against Lamar in order to get the confidence back. The secondary will definitely add to their interception total.

Although this preview is short, that’s becasue Lamar is in the FCS, and I don’t think they can walk into Kyle Field and beat the Aggies.

Final Score: Texas A&M wins, 48-3
