About this time every year, there are a couple of hints signifying that the college football season is imminent, such as the preseason preview specials, the subtle coolness in the air and the arrival of high school football.
Another one of those hints is when the season is close enough for ESPN to announce their broadcast teams for week one games, which the network did on Tuesday.
Nearly all opening week SEC games will be carried out on ESPN’s family of networks, including the SEC Network and ABC. The only exception is Tennessee’s clash with No. 20 West Virginia in the annual Belk Kickoff game, which will be carried by CBS and announced by the usual suspects, Brad Nesslar and Gary Danielson. The game is slated for a 3:30 kickoff.
