The Kentucky Wildcats have found themselves another power conference team to face in the nonconference basketball slate. John Calipari’s bunch will be squaring off with Larry Krystkowiak’s Utah Utes in each of the next two seasons.
BREAKING..@ESPN700 has learned the Utah Basketball has agreed to a two game series with Kentucky. Utah will play at Rupp this season & meet Kentucky at T-Mobile arena in Vegas the following year. #Utes @UtahMBB

While this is perfectly fine for Kentucky, it seems like Utah is getting shortchanged a bit. A road game and then a return game in a different state? Interesting decision making.
Regardless, it should be yet another daunting early season test for the Wildcats.
