Let’s dive in to just what’s at stake heading into the homestretch of the season.
- Georgia and Florida are separated by three games in the conference and the division. The Gators could give themselves a lot of breathing room with a series win
- Mizzou is looking to make the SEC Tournament. They need to win at least one more game than Tennessee this weekend to be in a good place going forward. The Vols and Commodores both have their own work to do, as well.
- Meanwhile, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Auburn, Texas A&M and LSU are all separated by two games in the West. LSU would benefit from a series win over Alabama, as the other four schools mentioned are playing each other.
- Kentucky and Mississippi State are also both in a logjam at 11-13.
