Yet another Alabama star is off the board.

The Atlanta Falcons already have one Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver. After Thursday night, they have another.

Calvin Ridley becomes the latest SEC player to be selected in the 2018 NFL Draft. Ridley joins Jones in the Falcons receiving corp, which certainly has plenty of talent around it. Ridley joins Rashaan Evans, Da’Ron Payne and Minkah Fitzpatrick as Alabama players to be selected in this year’s 1st round.

At ‘Bama, Ridley amassed over 2,700 receiving yards in three seasons. He scored 19 total touchdowns, including seven in his freshman season. He would go on to rack up 967 yards in his senior year at Alabama with a mark of 15.3 yards per reception, which was highest mark of his entire career.

Best of luck to Calvin Ridley in Atlanta!
