One of the best receivers in the state of Texas committed to the Georgia Bulldogs on Wednesday. Georgia, who has turned in one of the best recruiting classes we’ve seen in some time, added to their riches with the commitment of wideout Tommy Bush.

Standing in at 6-foot-5, 191 lbs., Bush is a speedy and lengthy receiver who should no doubt help an offense that excelled often with Jake Fromm under center. Bush was timed at 4.47 for his 40-yard dash, so there’s definitely plenty of quickness coming to Athens once he suits up. The Under Armour All-American chose UGA over the Baylor Bears, Michigan State Spartans, Texas Longhorns and Ole Miss Rebels among others.
Currently, Bush ranks as the 196th overall player in the class of 2018. He also ranks 37th among all wide receivers in the loaded Class of 2018. In the football-rich state of Texas, Bush ranks 23rd among all the 2018 Lone Star State prospects.
In getting Bush, Georgia’s top-ranked class has an assortment of talent. Especially so at wide receiver. He joins fellow four-star Kearis Jackson of Peach County as receivers who have signed with UGA to this point. He is the 22nd player of at least four-star caliber or higher to be brought in by Kirby Smart in the 2018 recruiting cycle, which is just insanity.
