A bit late to the party here, but SEC midweek baseball has already begun.
If you care to watch Tennessee vs. Middle Tennessee, that game is currently online on SEC Network+/WatchESPN.
As for the rest of the midweek action...
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
- A glut of the SEC’s ranked teams face off with unranked opponents. 8th-ranked Kentucky will tackle Western Kentucky at the top of the hour. Later, 19th-ranked Ole Miss faces Murray State, 10th-ranked Vanderbilt hosts Austin Peay, top-ranked Florida faces off with North Florida and 9th-ranked LSU hosts Grambling. Later, Texas A&M, the 11th-ranked team in the nation, squares off with Houston Baptist.
- On Wednesday, most of those teams are in action again. Florida will be facing North Florida again, but Vanderbilt and Texas A&M are facing new opponents. The Commodores are tackling the Indiana State Sycamores while the Aggies face Incarnate Word. 6th-ranked Arkansas and 15th-ranked Mississippi State will be jumping into the pool, as the Hogs face Dayton while the Bulldogs face McNeese. 9th-ranked LSU will also be playing SE Louisiana.
- The aforementioned Hogs will be facing the Flyers of Dayton once again on Thursday in the lone game of the day.
- Other teams in action this week include South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mizzou and Auburn. The Tigers will be going up against 23rd-ranked South Alabama in their only midweek game of the week. The Gamecocks will face Furman, while Georgia stands up against Wofford and Georgia State. Alabama is set to face Alabama State and Samford. Mizzou, meanwhile, has a 2-gamer against Alabama A&M.
Full schedule will be posted soon. Most if not all the games can be found on SEC Network+/ESPN3/WatchESPN and the like.
