Alabama
After a weekend of games against Washington State in Tuscaloosa, Alabama remains unbeaten. The Tide won all three of their games with ease, beating the Cougars by an average of 7 runs.

Arkansas
Like Mississippi State, Arkansas took on three different opponents over the weekend. Unfortunately for the Razorbacks, Arkansas only came away from this past weekend with one win, 5-2 on Saturday over San Diego State.

Auburn
Another series at home for Auburn brought about another sweep for the Tigers over a considerably inferior opponent. Auburn’s wins on Friday and Saturday were huge, high scoring wins, but Bryant challenged the Tigers in a 3-1 battle on Sunday.

Florida
In Florida’s trip down to play in state rival Miami, the Gators were able to take down the 24th ranked Hurricanes with two huge victories. Florida got their first loss of the year on Sunday as Miami won a pitchers’ duel 2-0.

Georgia
The Georgia Bulldogs started their weekend over Charlotte with a 12-2 blowout. The remaining games of the series were considerably closer, but UGA was still able to get a sweep at home.

Kentucky
Nick Mingione’s Wildcats came up with a series sweep over Oakland. Kentucky brought the Grizzlies down to Lexington and won each game by an average of 9.7 runs. UK’s bats came alive, clearly, and Kentucky was able to push double digit runs across the plate every day of the series.

LSU
LSU faced off against a tough test in the University of Texas. The 20th ranked Longhorns made the trip to Baton Rouge and actually dealt the Tigers their first loss of the season, but it was on Sunday and came after LSU clinched the series with two commanding wins over UT.

Ole Miss
After a close call with Tulane on Friday, the Rebels came out and continued win, with a strong showing on Saturday, beating Tulane 9-1. Ole Miss was able to get the sweep at home to remain undefeated.

Mississippi State
The Bulldogs are traveling across Texas as construction on the new Dudy Noble wraps up. MSU spent the weekend playing in Corpus Christi, Texas and won two of their three. The one game they dropped was to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, who is 6-1 on the year.

Mizzou
Mizzou brought Northeastern down for a four game series and the Tigers ended up splitting the weekend in an interesting fashion. On Saturday, Mizzou won a game 20-1. That blowout was preceded by losing 10-8. The weekend was puzzling, to say the least.

South Carolina
The Gamecocks were almost able to pull off a dominant sweep over Charleston Southern. South Carolina absolutely crushed their first two games but fell short on Sunday, dropping it 4-2.

Tennessee
The Vols’ season hasn’t started quite liked they hoped after dropping a series to Maryland to get the year started. However, hosting UNC Greensboro allowed for Tennessee to get back on track a bit. The home team couldn’t come away with the sweep, dropping the game on Sunday, but 2 wins are better than none.

Texas A&M
Texas A&M hosted Cornell down in College Station in a series that included a double header on Friday. Initially, it looked like the Ivy League squad might challenge the Aggies with the first game of the series going 3-2 in A&M’s favor. However, both of the games to close out the weekend resulted in blowouts in the home team’s favor.
