The Ole Miss men’s basketball team will have a new head coach next season, as Andy Kennedy is expected to announce that he will be stepping down after the season in a press conference Monday afternoon, according to Rivals’ Neal McCready.
Two sources indicate #OleMiss coach Andy Kennedy is expected to step down, effective at the end of the season, during today's 3 p.m. press conference. Kennedy has been unavailable for comment.

Kennedy is currently the longest tenured SEC basketball coach, having been in Oxford since 2006. He has led Ole Miss to two NCAA Tournament appearances and has a career 245-153 record at the school, making him the winningest coach in Ole Miss history..
Additionally, Kennedy was SEC Coach of the Year in 2007.
