NFL Draft 2017: Deatrich Wise drafted by the New England Patriots

It took until Round 4, but the Arkansas Razorbacks have their first player selected in the 2017 NFL Draft. Defensive end Deatrich Wise was taken with the 131st overall pick by the New England Patriots!

Wise gives Arkansas at least one draftee for the 22nd straight draft. Not since 1995 have the Hogs gone draftless, and that will continue to be said for at least another year with Wise’s selection.

He’s the first defensive end to be taken from Arkansas since, coincidentally, New England selected Trey Flowers in 2015.
