The Ole Miss Rebels recently landed the touted 2018 quarterback Matt Corral. Matt Luke has not stopped there on the recruiting trail, though. Friday brought about another commit for the Rebels, this one for their class of 2019, as Jerrion Ealy committed to Ole Miss.

As Ealy notes in his tweet, he’ll not only be playing football at Ole Miss, but baseball, too. The two-sport athlete has made plenty of waves on the gridiron and the baseball diamond. He ranks as the 3rd-best baseball player in the entire country per Perfect Game USA’s rankings for 2019. He’s no slouch either in football, ranking 90th in the country overall, 8th at his position (running back) and fourth in the state of Mississippi.
Prior to his commitment, Ealy held offers from several power conference programs. This included, but wasn’t limited to the Oregon Ducks, Florida State Seminoles, Kentucky Wildcats and Tennessee Volunteers.
Ole Miss’ 2019 class now has four players with the addition of Ealy. He joins Jamond Gordon, Jordan Jernigan and Tavario Standifer. All four are from the state of Mississippi, with Ealy hailing from Flowood, Gordon from Meridian, and Jernigan and Standifer both from Tupelo.
