Given the fact that nine Kentucky players have been drafted into the NBA in the past two seasons, it should come as no surprise that the Wildcats are well-represented in the NBA’s annual Rising Stars Challenge.
The Rising Stars Challenge pits the NBA’s best rookies and sophomores against each other in an exhibition game to open the All-Star Weekend festivities.
The past couple years have seen an added wrinkle, where players from the United States are teamed up against players from the rest of the World.
As such, two Kentucky players are on each roster this year, with Karl-Anthony Towns and Devin Booker representing Team USA, while Trey Lyles and Jamal Murray are on Team World.
