Three hoops teams from the Southeastern Conference once again find themselves in this week’s editions of the AP Top 25 and USA TODAY Coaches Polls.

The Kentucky Wildcats rank the highest of the trio again, as UK finds themselves at No. 4 in both polls. The ‘Cats had a successful week, taking down both the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the South Carolina Gamecocks.

The Gamecocks are the one of the other three teams that finds themselves in the poll. Their spots differentiate in these polls, as they’re ranked 23rd in the AP Poll while they find themselves at 24th in the USA TODAY poll. They were able to pick up a win against the Florida Gators last week to couple with the loss to Kentucky, and speaking of Florida, they’re the third and final team in this week’s poll from the SEC.

It wasn’t a very successful week for the Gators as they went 0-2 in games against the Gamecocks and the Vanderbilt Commodores. As a result, they find themselves at 25 in both polls to start this week, on the cusp of being on the outside looking in if things get hairy for them this week.

No other SEC teams received votes this week.
