He waited an awfully long while, but LSU Tigers safety Jalen Mills finally has been drafted. The Philadelphia Eagles spend a seventh round pick, No. 233 overall, on Mills in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Mills is the fourth Tiger to be taken in this year's draft, joining Rashard Robinson, Deion Jones and Jerald Hawkins. He also becomes the 17th LSU defensive back to be drafted since 2005, perhaps solidifying the program's status as 'DB U.'
Best of luck to Mills with the Eagles!
