NFL Draft 2016: Jerell Adams selected by the New York Giants

South Carolina's tight end finally hears his name called.

Jim Dedmon-USA TODAY Sports

Following in the footsteps of Justice Cunningham, Jared Cook and Rory 'Busta' Anderson, tight end Jerell Adams is headed to the NFL after the New York Giants selected him in the 2016 NFL Draft.

The G-Men snagged Adams with the 184th overall pick in the sixth round. Adams, 6-foot-5, 247 pounds is one of the most talented players in the country and should be another welcomed addition to an offense that is concurrently being boosted this year with the likes of Paul Perkins and Sterling Shepard being added in this year's draft.

Best of luck to Adams with the Giants!
