Odds: Strangely, there are no point spreads for this game. I assume that Alabama will by a good bit of a margin. Let’s say by 45, maybe?
The Chattanooga Mocs are making a trip to Tusculoosa to face the SEC West champion Alabama Crimson Tide in what one could call a “prep game” for the Iron Bowl next Saturday against the Auburn Tigers.
I guess you're asking, “What is there to prep?”
Alabama’s offense.
True freshman QB Jalen Hurts has some work to do with passing. The QB now has seven interceptions to his 16 touchdowns, and has thrown at least one interception in each of the last five games. It looks like he is a little anxious, which could be a big downfall if he isn’t careful.
Although he is doing a great job, and I mean it in every aspect compared to the other SEC QB’s, he has those errors that he cannot make in big games under Coach Saban.
Alabama’s running game has improved over the course of the season, which is something they could rely on and probably utilize more this week. Damien Harris and Bo Scarbrough make a nice duo in the backfield to keep the opponent’s rush defense on their toes.
We all know the Alabama is the team to beat and this how Saban and company want this team to be. Chattanooga is just another team to plow over and prepare them for the more important this-is-for-bragging-rights game against the Tigers.
Prediction: Alabama 45, Chattanooga 3
