Florida Gators defensive back Chris Steele is headed to the Pacific Northwest.
Steele, who announced his intentions to transfer recently, has picked the Oregon Ducks to be his next team of choice. The rising sophomore DB announced his decision on his Twitter account.
I now know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have everything I’ve ever wanted. I have learned the secret of being content. In any and every situation, I can do all things through GOD who gives me strength...Ready to get to Eugene and ball! #LongLiveBigBruce pic.twitter.com/QIomrC5L1w

Steele will obviously have to apply for a waiver if he wants to play in the 2019 season. Considering how that process has gone recently for others, it’s perhaps plausible that he suits up for the Ducks this coming season and beyond.
Best of luck to Chris with the Ducks.
