Justin Fields will be able to play in 2019.
The former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback and top-ranked dual-threat in the 2018 recruiting rankings transferred the Ohio State Buckeyes this offseason. On Friday, the NCAA ruled that Fields will be eligible to suit up for the Buckeyes this coming fall.

Fields had applied for a hardship waiver to look to play this coming season. Obviously, the NCAA decided to grant him immediate eligibility. This will, in turn, help new head coach Ryan Day and the Buckeyes off the bat as they look to win the Big Ten Conference once again. And, well, compete for a College Football Playoff Championship, as well.
Best of luck to Fields in Columbus this coming season and beyond.
