Christian Kirk, Calvin Ridley, J’Mon Moore and Deebo Samuel named to 2017 Biletnikoff Award Watch List

Four wide receivers were named to the 2017 Biletnikoff Award Watch List on Wednesday.

Leading the charge is Texas A&M receiver Christian Kirk. Kirk is a do-it-all pass catcher, having showcased the ability to return kicks and punts at an elite level in his time in College Station. The rising junior is coming off a year in which he caught 83 passes for 928 yards and nine touchdowns while amassing 455 return yards (on kicks and punts) and three TD on punt returns.

Elsewhere, fellow rising junior Calvin Ridley joins the fun, as Alabama will have the talented wideout in the spotlight. Ridley saw his numbers go down last year from an impressive freshman season, as he caught 72 passes for 769 yards but still grabbed as many touchdowns (7) as he did in his first year in Tuscaloosa.

Missouri receiver J’Mon Moore and South Carolina receiver Deebo Samuel are also vying for the honor. Moore and Samuel have been terrific in the SEC East in their careers and with Drew Lock and Jake Bentley throwing passes to them this coming season, we can certainly expect those trends to continue.
