The 6-foot-3, 260-pound defensive end ranks 11th in the nation among all JUCO prospects in 2018. Gerald, who attends College of the Canyons, ranks second at his position behind Auburn commit Daquan Newkirk, a four-star from Mississippi Gulf Coast CC, and is also the top JUCO prospect in California.
For Tennessee, Dorian Gerald is the 17th commit for the class of 2018 and fifth defensive lineman. Greg Emerson, D’Andre Litaker, Brent Lawless and Jamarcus Chatman are the other four who Gerald joins, as the Vols’ class continues to get bolstered. Their class remains fourth in the country and second in the SEC behind LSU.
