2018 3-star running back AJ Carter decommits from LSU, flips back to UCLA

2018 three-star running back AJ Carter announced via Twitter on Monday that after a talk with his coaches and some mental processing, his first decision was the right one.

The Louisiana running back de-committed to LSU and recommitted to UCLA.

The Many High School tailback put out a heartfelt tweet about his decision and a photo of him in a UCLA uniform. Here is the tweet from Carter himself:

LSU’s recruiting class only takes a slight hit with the loss of Carter as they still stand 3rd in the nation and 1st in the SEC for 2018. UCLA’s on the other hand gets a boost, as they rank 16th in America now with Carter in tow. They still however find themselves behind crosstown rival USC and Oregon also, as the Ducks have the Pac-12’s best recruiting class for 2018 right now.
