If you haven’t been following Kentucky’s 2018 recruiting class, this might be a good time to start.
As most were celebrating Tuesday’s holiday in a variety of ways, Mark Stoops and Kentucky’s staff were given the news that Xavier Peters, a four-star linebacker from Ohio, would be UK bound next season.

Peters is from West Chester, Ohio, which is about 25 minutes north of Cincinnati and 90 minutes southwest of Columbus. The latter is significant as Peters becomes the second of the state’s eight top recruits who have chosen to leave Ohio (so far).
The fifteenth commit in Kentucky’s class, Peters is the fourth four-star player. As such, Kentucky’s class sits at #21 in the nation at the moment.
