Mizzou’s wins in the 2018 recruiting cycle continued on Thursday with the commitment of 3-star defensive end Daniel Parker.

Parker had previously been committed to Mizzou but had decommitted back in September. Almost a year later, the Blue Springs native has decided to recommit to Barry Odom and the Tigers to add to what’s already been a whirlwind of a week. They have landed nine recruits since last last Friday to push their class up to a total of 14 now.

Mizzou’s class now ranks 41st in the country and they’re all the way up to 10th in the SEC after hanging out at 14th for quite some time.

Parker checks in at 6-foot-2.5 and 268 lbs. He’s listed as the eighth-ranked player in the state of Missouri and is, so far, the first Top 10 recruit from the state to commit to Mizzou. The only other locked in players for 2018 from The Show Me State are Ayodele Adeoye and Mario Goodrich, who are committed to Texas and Nebraska.

He is also listed 19th among all strong side defensive ends and 481st overall in America in his class.
