Mississippi State added another pice to their 2018 recruiting class on Wednesday, as Opelika, Alabama running back La’damian Webb committed to the Bulldogs.

Webb, who is listed as a three-star on 247Sports and an attendee of Beauregard High School, made the announcement on his personal Twitter account on Wednesday morning:

The 5-foot-9, 190-pound tailback chose State over Ole Miss, Alabama, Mizzou and a host of other schools from inside and outside the SEC.

La’damian Webb is ranked 648th overall in America for 2018 as of this point. He is the 33rd-ranked running back in the nation right now and stands at 24th overall in the state of Alabama. He’s the third commit of the month for Dan Mullen and the Bulldogs, joining Shawn Preston and Tyrese Ross, two safeties who committed last week.

With Webb in tow, Mississippi State is just outside the Top 25 in the 2018 recruiting rankings. The Bulldogs are sitting at 26th in the nation right now, looking up at Baylor, Vanderbilt and Washington who sit 25th, 24th and 23rd. State is also just outside the Top 5 in the SEC, ranking sixth in their conference as they look up at Vandy, Kentucky and Texas A&M who are 5th, 4th and 3rd.
