Auburn’s 2018 recruiting class got better on Tuesday with the addition Atlanta, Georgia athlete Quindarious Monday.
Monday, out of Carver High School, made the announcement on his personal Twitter account.

The 6-foot-3, 175-pound athlete is a four-star player per 247Sports Composite. Monday is ranked 221st overall in America and finds himself in the Top 10 among athletes in 2018 as well as in the Top 25 in the state of Georgia, ranking ninth and 24th respectively. Although listed as an athlete on 247Spots, Monday has played defensive back, predominantly safety, in high school.
Auburn scores a big win in the wake of his commitment, as Quindarious had Georgia and Clemson among his choices. Seeing as UGA and Clemson have been hitting the right notes in recruiting of late, Gus Malzahn certainly can notch another feather in his cap with the addition of the four-star athlete.
The Tigers class is now up to eight, as Monday joins joins one other four-star player in the form of fellow athlete Joey Gatewood of Jacksonville, Florida and six three-star players. Their class is ranked ninth in the SEC as of now and 43rd in the nation per 247Sports.
