A premier showdown headlines Tuesday night’s SEC action on the hardwood.

LSU vs. KENTUCKY

7 p.m. ET | ESPN | WatchESPN

The Kentucky Wildcats will host the LSU Tigers in top-flight showdown at Rupp Arena. The Tigers and Wildcats currently share second place in the conference standings, as both are one game back of the unbeaten Tennessee Volunteers. Considering that these two teams will meet only once this season, it is an absolutely pivotal contest. Stars will be all over the place for this one between Naz Reid, Tremont Waters, PJ Washington and Ashton Hagans, among others. You will absolutely not want to miss this one.

GEORGIA vs. TEXAS A&M

7 p.m. ET | SEC Network | WatchESPN

While two of the best teams in the SEC will be facing off, two of the worst will be tackling one another concurrently. The Georgia Bulldogs and Texas A&M Aggies have racked up a combined record of 3-17 in SEC play this season. They’ll be facing each other for the first and only time this season on Tuesday night. A&M picked up a big win over the Missouri Tigers over the weekend, while UGA continued to slide, losing their fourth game in a row to the Ole Miss Rebels.

ALABAMA vs. MISSISSIPPI STATE

9 p.m. ET | SEC Network | WatchESPN

The Mississippi State Bulldogs are reeling, but they do have a chance to get back on track against the Alabama Crimson Tide on Tuesday. The Tide got them 83-79 last time around in Tuscaloosa, so Quinndary Weatherspoon and the Bulldogs will be aiming to get a measure of revenge. But, they’ve lost two in a row, three of four, and four of their last six going into this game. With a conference record of 4-6 at the moment, a win is pivotal if they want to get a good seed for the upcoming conference tournament. On the flip side, Alabama has won two in a row, scoring wins over Georgia and the Vanderbilt Commodores. Pulling back the curtain, they’ve won three of four, four of six, and five of their last eight games to pull to 6-4 in conference play. Kira Lewis Jr. has been great lately, having put up 42 points in his last two games, including 18 against Vandy.

ARKANSAS vs. MIZZOU

9 p.m. ET | ESPNU | WatchESPN

Finally, we’ll wrap things up here with this matchup between the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Missouri Tigers. Mike Anderson will be back in CoMO once again, where he isn’t exactly beloved by the Tiger faithful. But Anderson’s Hogs haven’t fared well over the years at Mizzou Arena. They are just 2-4 in the six contests played in Columbia. Will that trend continue? Mizzou has looked listless at times this year, despite the surprisingly great play of Javon Pickett. Arkansas meanwhile is 14-9 but did lose their last game to the South Carolina Gamecocks, snapping a three-game win streak and a run of four of five victories, which naturally included a home win over Mizzou.
