We’ve got ourselves a full weekend of baseball games ahead of us! Let’s take a glance at what lies ahead for the SEC:

We’ll check in on our ranked teams first.

~ #18 Tennessee begins a weekend series with the Iona Gaels. The Vols of course are off to a 4-0 start to the season and are hoping to remain unbeaten after the weekend is over.

~ #3 Ole Miss will take on VCU this weekend. The Rebels are also 4-0 and are hoping to do some mop-up of a nonconference opponent this weekend.

~ #16 Georgia faces Akron, #7 Mississippi State battles Northern Kentucky, #5 Vanderbilt faces off with Army, and #15 Florida will take on Georgia State.

~ Now how about #2 Arkansas? Well, the Razorbacks have themselves a fun weekend, as they face three opponents in three days. First, they start with Indiana. Then on Saturday, they have a Top 10 matchup with the #6 Stanford Cardinal on the ledger. And finally, on Sunday, the Razorbacks will face the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.

~ Among the unranked teams of the SEC, Alabama no doubt will have the toughest task. They have a weekend series with the #1 Texas Longhorns out in Austin. It should be quite the hoot but hopefully, for the Tide, it plays out more like they want the looming football game this fall compared to, well, the opposite.
