One pick after the New York Giants should have probably taken him, the Jacksonville Jaguars selected Kentucky edge rusher Josh Allen with the seventh pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
As noted above, Allen is the first Kentucky player taken in the top 10 since Dewayne Robertson went #4 overall to the Jets in 2003.
Allen joins a fearsome Jacksonville defense, and boasts many accolades from this past season, including a Bednarik Award, a Bronco Nagurski Award, and an SEC Defensive Player of the Year Award.
Congratulations to Josh Allen, and best of luck in Jacksonville!
