On Deck for SEC Softball: March 12

Not the busiest day, but a day of softball nonetheless.

There are two games on the docket on this Tuesday.

First up, Kentucky will play Miami (OH) in Lexington. The 18th-ranked Wildcats are 15-7 on the season and have won their last six in a row heading into action. They swept South Carolina over the weekend, starting conference play off on a high note. Autumn Humes took center stage as she had a CGSHO of the Gamecocks. Now though, UK will hope to make it seven in a row against the RedHawks.

The 18-3 Tennessee Volunteers are in action on Tuesday night, as well. The Vols are hitting the road to face Middle Tennessee in a intrastate matchup. The Vols had been rolling until they lost 8-0 to Florida on Sunday. However, they did take two of three from the rival Gators to win the series and start SEC play off with rousing success. They had won 10 in a row prior to that defeat, and for their sake, that loss to the Gators doesn’t start a losing streak.

Kentucky’s matchup with Miami (OH) is at 6 ET and will be on SEC Network+ and WatchESPN. Tennessee-Middle Tennessee, meanwhile, will not be televised or aired via ESPN’s streaming services.
