Arkansas falls to North Texas in Fayetteville

Is this rock bottom?

NCAA Football: North Texas at Arkansas Justin Ford-USA TODAY Sports

Coming off a rough road loss to the Colorado State Rams, the Arkansas Razorbacks returned to Fayetteville looking to pick up a victory over the North Texas Mean Green.

It didn’t go very well!

The Razorbacks looked incredibly flat on both sides of the ball in their 44-17 loss to the Mean Green. Let’s dive in and see just what went wrong for them.

After his two interceptions in last week’s loss to Colorado State, Arkansas quarterback Ty Storey didn’t see the field in Saturday’s loss. Arkansas’ three quarterbacks (Cole Kelley, Connor Noland, and John Stephen Jones) responded by throwing a combined six interceptions in the rout.

Also, this happened.

There’s really not much to say. It’s inexcusable and embarrassing for Arkansas to take this loss, and they need to figure it out because it’s not gonna get any easier.

Here are the offensive stats.
