The 2018 college football season gets underway on Saturday and one of the marquee matchups feature the Tennessee Volunteers and West Virginia Mountaineers in a neutral site game in Charlotte! The Vols are in their first game under new head coach Jeremy Pruitt after a bit of a tumultuous coaching carousel. Tennessee has a chance to make a big splash under Pruitt as well, as they square off with a familiar foe: former Florida quarterback Will Grier.
It’s quite the test for Pruitt and the Vols, and a win would go quite a long way.
This also marks Jamie Erdahl’s first game as SEC on CBS sideline reporter.
