2019 five-star forward Kahlil Whitney commits to Kentucky

This may shock you, but John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats landed a five-star commit on Wednesday afternoon.

As Calipari’s Wildcats are set to play their preseason tour of the Bahamas, 2019 five-star forward Kahlil Whitney announced his commitment to Kentucky via Twitter.

Whitney chose the Wildcats over Oregon, Georgetown, and Illinois, the three other teams he included in his top four a couple weeks back.

Whitney checks in at #14 on ESPN’s Top 100 for 2019, seven spots behind fellow Kentucky commit Tyrese Maxey.
