FLORIDA GOES DOWN

The Florida Gators suffered a rare loss, as the Gators fell to the UCF Knights in Orlando on Wednesday. The Knights defeated UF 1-0, as the game’s lone run was scored by Cassady Brewer, who drove Aubrey Johnson in with a single in the first inning. Alea White stymied the typically productive Gator bats, as UF only collected one hit. Nicole DeWitt was responsible for that, as she hit a double.

KENTUCKY BLANKS EKU AND LOUISVILLE

The Kentucky Wildcats had a richly successful week. First, they blanked EKU 10-0. Then, they shutout rival Louisville 8-0 the following day. Needless to say, the Wildcats are feeding off their momentum as they waltz into the weekend.
