We are pretty thin on “intriguing” matchups this week. Only two teams are facing off with teams within the Top 100 of the RPI. Those teams being Mississippi State and Georgia, who face off with Memphis and USC Upstate respectively. Memphis ranks 74th in the RPI with a 30-14 record overall, while USC Upstate is 29-15 and 79th in the RPI as of now. Essentially, these midweek affairs should go in the way of the SEC teams. Avoiding the upset bug will be pivotal for all eight teams competing this week. Especially with the season winding down.
