For the second time this season, the Ole Miss Rebels scored 70 or more points in a game.
After hanging 78 on Southern Illinois in the season’s second week, Ole Miss hung an even 70 on the UL-Monroe Warhawks en route to a 70-21 victory.
The game was well in hand by halftime, as Ole Miss took a 49-7 lead into the break.
Jordan Ta’Amu had one of his best games of the season, going 21-24 for 374 yards and three touchdowns. Matt Corral added a 10-10 relief outing with two passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown, as Ole Miss was thoroughly dominant. DaMarkus Lodge, AJ Brown, and DK Metcalf each eclipsed the 100 yard mark, and combined for 22 receptions.
Ole Miss improves to 4-2 and heads to Fayetteville to face Arkansas next week.
