The Alabama Crimson Tide (1-0) have won their last 16 home openers. Will that number improve to 17 in a row after Saturday’s clash with the Arkansas State Red Wolves (1-0)?
Yes. Otherwise, we’ll see one of college football’s all-time great upsets. But, more likely, yes.

PREVIEW
Alabama is going to win by multiple touchdowns, so it’s kind of hard to figure out what to write here. The interesting thing to watch, as usual, will be to see how Nick Saban splits the time at quarterback between Tua Tagovailoa and Jalen Hurts. Tagovailoa was decidedly better in last week’s cakewalk against Louisville, going 12-16 for 220 yards and two touchdowns, as Hurts went 5-9 for 70 yards. The split will likely look similar against Arkansas State, though if the game gets out of hand late, who knows what could happen.
Arkansas State looked good in their 48-21 win over Southeast Missouri State last week, as quarterback Justice Hansen had six touchdown passes. But Alabama isn’t Southeast Missouri State.
Prediction: Alabama 55, Arkansas State 7
