Missouri makes the 2018 NCAA Tournament, will face Florida State in Nashville

Hello again, Mizzou.

NCAA Basketball: Tennessee at Missouri Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

For the first time since 2013, the Missouri Tigers are in the NCAA Tournament!

Mizzou is back in the mix after a successful season in CoMO. Under first-year head coach Cuonzo Martin, the Tigers went 20-12 despite a rash of injuries and transfers, including the loss of star freshman Michael Porter Jr. MPJ is back, though, and while Mizzou lost their first game back with him against Georgia, they’ll be looking to make magic happen.

The Tigers will start this year’s NCAA Tournament as an 8 seed in the West Region. Their Round of 64 game will be against the Florida State Seminoles in Nashville, Tennessee on Friday. If they win, they’ll likely (really likely) face the 1-seeded Xavier Musketeers.
