For the second straight week, Alabama defeated FSU!
This one was much easier, though, as it was the Fresno State Bulldogs instead of the Florida State Seminoles.
Jalen Hurts scampered for a 55-yard touchdown on the second play of the game, and Tide never looked back en route to a 41-10 victory.
Hurts had a phenomenal game on the air and on the ground, finishing the day 14-18 for 128 passing yards and one touchdown, in addition to his 154 rushing yards and pair of touchdowns.
The rushing offense was the story of the afternoon for Alabama, as it combined for 305 yards on 39 rushes (7.8 YPC). Fresno didn’t seem to have a plan for the rushing attack as evident from the very beginning of the game.
There’s not much more to say about this game. A very good team beat a very overmatched team. It was cool to see Alabama freshman QB Tua Tagovailoa make his debut. He went 6-9 and threw a touchdown with 2:41 left in the game.
‘Bama improves to 2-0 and will face the Colorado State Rams next week.
