The reasons for Mason’s dismissal are unknown at this point. We may find out down the road, but for now, we know that Mizzou is without one starting receiver as the bye week moves on. Next week against the Kentucky Wildcats, the Tigers will likely be seeing some fresher faces on the field.
In 15 games with Mizzou, Mason picked up 60 receptions, amassed 706 yards and scored three touchdowns. He did not have any TDs in 2017, but managed to pull in 13 receptions for 119 yards in the four games played this year.
