Carolina-based independent wrestling promotion hosting an SEC battle royal set to be filmed by ESPN

An independent wrestling promotion based out of the Carolinas will be hosting a battle royal featuring schools from the SEC.

Yes, that’s right. All of the SEC.

CWF Mid-Atlantic, headquartered in Burlington, North Carolina, announced on their Facebook Thursday night that the special battle royal will be taking place on Saturday at the mid-Atlantic Sportatorium in Gibsonville, North Carolina at their “No Excuses” event. In addition to that, ESPN will be there to tape the match, which will be used for college football preview coverage per the Facebook post.

For those that have asked why the ESPN logo was seen on the poster for "No Excuses" this Saturday in Gibsonville, NC at the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium; we can now officially announce that CWF Mid-Atlantic will be taping a special segment for ESPN and their college football preview coverage to air this August!

ESPN in conjunction with CWF Mid-Atlantic will be holding a special SEC battle royal with every SEC school represenated by a different CWF Mid-Atlantic wrestler!
