Georgia’s recruiting roll continued in a big way on Sunday when 2019 five-star receiver Dominick Blaylock committed to the Bulldogs. Blaylock chose the ‘Dawgs over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson and Florida among many others.

The 6’0”, 175-pound Blaylock is already a polished receiver. He isn’t a guy who is just using his athleticism to move to receiver at the next level. Blaylock possesses outstanding hands and is terrific at beating defenders off the line.

And for a guy who isn’t 6’3” or taller, he has terrific ball skills and attacks the ball at its highest point. Blaylock, of course, is blazing fast with the quickness to match.

Blaylock is a player who will likely contribute as a true freshman in 2019 barring any unforeseen injuries. And the biggest perk of Blaylock committing early is some of the other elite talents who could join him in Athens. Ranked the No. 21 player overall in the class of 2019, per 247Sports, Blaylock is the sixth player to commit to UGA’s class of 2019. Per 247Sports’ composite team rankings, Georgia ranks No. 2 overall in 2019 and are poised for a historic class.

Who will be the next one to join the ‘Dawgs? The nation’s No. 7 overall prospect in 2019 and a fellow Georgia native, Christopher Hinton, is also keeping his eyes on what’s going on in Athens.

The greatest thing about Blaylock? His father is former NBA star Mookie Blaylock.
