2018 five-star quarterback Justin Fields announced his decommitment from the Penn State Nittany Lions on Tuesday night.

Fields, the top dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2018, had previously committed to PSU back on December 1, 2016, roughly a month after he unofficially visited the campus. He had also taken another unofficial visit to State College for their Blue-White Game on April 22.
But, evidently, something withered somewhere, and now Fields’ recruitment has opened again.
Based solely on his 247Sports Crystal Ball, it appears that a couple teams from the Southeastern Conference may be in play for him. Most notably the Florida Gators, who hold the lead right now as far as predictions go. To that point, five predictions were made for the Gators on Tuesday evening after Fields’ decommitment. The Georgia Bulldogs and Auburn Tigers also received predictions for the top dual-threat signal caller, but UF is the most prominent at the moment.

Time will obviously tell to see where Justin Fields lands. As of now though, keep your eye down south.
