While everyone around Columbia is very excited about the new era of Mizzou basketball, one fan took it a bit too far.
Nathaniel Conant turned himself in to Columbia police on Sunday afternoon after reports of damage at Mizzou Arena surfaced early Sunday morning.
Conant allegedly crashed through a gate (pictured below), then through a garage door to make it into the arena.
He also, allegedly, made it all the way to the court before leaving and crashing through another gate. Both gates are pictured below.

Maybe you’re reading this and don’t believe he made it all the way to the court.
WELL, YOU’RE WRONG!
Here are @columbiatribune pics of damage at Mizzou Arena. Mostly smashed gates, few dinged up golf carts inside, one skid mark on the court. pic.twitter.com/ph4o54IQhm

Look, don’t do this. It’s dumb to drive your car into places where cars don’t belong. Conant could have injured himself or others.
But he made it all the way to the court.
