As LSU baseball is busy celebrating its return to the College World Series Final, LSU football is celebrating the news that 2018 three-star athlete Tae Provens will be a Tiger.

Provens, the 22nd-ranked player in Alabama for the class of 2018 per 247Sports, picked the Tigers over Tennessee, South Carolina, and Auburn among others.

While he’s listed as an athlete, Provens mainly played running back in his junior season of high school, shown in his Hudl video below.

LSU has one other running back commit in the class of 2018, three-star Chris Curry, in addition to a host of other running backs on the roster, so it will be interesting to see if Provens remains at running back or moves around a bit when he eventually gets to Baton Rouge.
