The Texas A&M Aggies have landed another 2018 commit.

Brian Johnson, a Manvel, Texas outside linebacker/safety hybrid, committed to Kevin Sumlin and the Aggies on Friday night. The 6-foot-1.5, 185-pound Johnson made the announcement of his commitment on his personal Twitter account.

A&M was always thought to be the destination for Johnson per his Crystal Ball on 247Sports. The 11 predictions made had him slated to go to College Station, so his decision shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.

Johnson is listed in the Top 100 and Top 50 in the state of Texas and at his primary position of OLB.

With Brian Johnson in tow, the Aggies now have 11 hard commits for the 2018 class. Johnson is the sixth three-star of the bunch, joining Seth Small, Dominic Livingston, Montel Parker, Cade Fortin and Deneric Prince, who committed last week, in that regard. A&M’s recruiting class is 12th in the country for 2018 and third in the SEC, falling behind LSU and Tennessee at this point.
