LSU 14, MISSISSIPPI STATE 4
For the first time since 2015, the LSU Tigers are going to the College World Series!
Thanks to the wild weather in Baton Rouge, it too until very early Monday morning to get a result, but surely the Tigers are perfectly fine with it.
After scoring three runs in their first two innings, LSU gave up the lead on a four-run third inning by the Bulldogs.
The Tigers wouldn’t stay down for long, though, as they picked up six runs in the fifth inning thanks to three hits, and a costly error and wild pitch from Mississippi State.
LSU wasn’t done, though. They tacked on five more runs in the ninth to extend the lead to 14-4, the eventual final score.
